I have to do a internal audit for work its my first one, the scope is physical security procedures relating to protecting our IT – so guards, perimeter security like the gates, fences and windows, CCTV, and then the doors to the locked rooms we keep the big servers and network kit in? Can any one help what questions I could ask. Basically I nedd help doing my checklist.Thanks in advance.

security check means - physical checking of their identity - access control method
this we can cover under the security control methods or security operating procedure.
Search - searching of document, Bomb etc
we must provide training to security for executing this search methodologically.
Frisking - body frisking with or without equipment
weather using equipment or not based we need to formulate policy based on our industry requirement.
while Creating policy , consider the following - should not violate the other already approved corporate policies, should not wound any personal emotions, should not break the law too.
Hope you may create new policy for above 3 now.
